Support for Parents

A core aspect of our mission at Accelerated Academics is to consult with parents as needed to provide support and guidance for an appropriate home-school education for their children. Our consultation services are personalized based upon the needs and requests of parents who are educating their own students at home.

Our services may include as needed or requested

• the interpretation of a child's previously taken IQ assessments (what do the assessment results mean and how to proceed next)  

• recommendations for acceleration and/or remediation in one or more subjects as appropriate

• recommendations regarding curriculum and curricular resources

• training on how to keep a portfolio of a child’s work (a historical archive of your child’s learning and improvement over time)

• guidance regarding gifted and talented resources when requested

• cumulative file record-keeping support

• progress report support
